The following events happen every week !

Afternoon Walks

For new and prospective members, a Sunday walk can be a really good introduction to the Club and its members. They are free to attend and are all organised and led by members. There are usually 15 or more people attending, and a gentle walk with some pleasant company is a great way of Spending a Sunday afternoon. Either be at the chosen pub for lunch, or join us in the Car Park to get ready for the off! There are a regular group of members who put on prorammes but we are always happy to include walks from New Leaders (4-5 miles maximum.) Please let me have you offerings for next month ASAP.

Over recent times, attention has been drawn to the need for IVC as a group, and walk leaders in particular, to take more heed of the Countryside Code whilst on the walks. To that end, some members more conversant with these issues will be drawing up some guidelines for us all to follow.

Badminton

We meet each Thursday between 8 and 10pm. Venue: Ashton on Mersey School Cecil Avenue, Sale. The cost is £3 per person per night. Have fun and keep fit.

Bridge

Come and join us to play a rubber of bridge. We meet at 8pm each Wednesday at the premises. Beginners are welcome. If you have always wanted to fearn but find the prospect of a bridge club intimidating you will receive a warm welcome and a useful start at this weekly event.

You will find a warm welcome and a range of different activities: slide shows, talks, quizzes, chess, and editing and mailing the following month's bulletin. Come and learn more about Manchester IVC and join some of us for a drink afterwards at a local pub - make sure you check which one as we are trying to vary the pubs we qo to.
